Curfew
Windom’s curfew hours are set forth in City Ordinance as follows:
If you are under 18, the curfew period is from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. every day.

Parking Regulations
No parking on city streets is permitted over 36 hours.
No parking is permitted within 10 feet of a fire hydrant or mailbox.
On-street parking is prohibited from 2:00 to 6:00 a.m. in the downtown busines area.

Vehicles – Abandoned Vehicles
Vehicles are considered abandoned motor vehicles if:
- Parked on public property over 48 hours.
- Parked on private property over 72 hours without permission of the property owner and they are in an inoperable condition.

Weapons (Firearms, BB Guns, Airsoft Guns, etc)
It is unlawful for any person to fire or discharge any cannon, gun, pistol or other firearm, firecracker, sky rocket or other fireworks, air gun, air rifle or other similar device commonly referred to as a BB gun. It is equally unlawful to fire or discharge any prohibited object or device whether it is fired or discharged within the city, or from a point without the city into the city.
PLEASE NOTE: Airsoft guns are not allowed to be used within City Limits
Bow and Arrow
It is unlawful for any person to shoot a bow and arrow, except in a physical education program
in a school supervised by a member of its faculty, a community-wide supervised class or event
specifically authorized by the Chief of Police or a bow and arrow range authorized by the Council.
