Giving Tree 2019 Update from WAH

All,

Thank you to everyone involved in the Giving Tree this year.  With your donations we were able to drop off 232 wrapped gifts for 71 children at DVHHS last Friday.  Our WAH Auxiliary and Staff wrapped just shy of 200 gifts a few days prior to help us make the drop-off window.  I’ve been assured the gifts will be distributed in time for Christmas, so kids in need in both Cottonwood and Jackson counties will have presents to open on Christmas Day. Thank you all for taking part this year, it is very much appreciated by all involved.  Please see the attached card signed by DVHHS, who wanted to show their appreciation to everyone who participated in the event.

A Special Thank You to those taking part outside of WAH:

Chelsie Carlson and staff at the City of Windom office

Drew Hage, City of Windom EDA

Tim Hogan, City of Windom Recreation Director

John Nelson, City of Windom Liquor Store Manager

Josh Sammons and his staff at Sanford Windom & Mt Lake clinics

Marco Medina, Medina Martial Arts

Pictures of the event and card are attached.  Thank you again to everyone involved, I hope you all have a very blessed Christmas holiday!
